Official Launch Event of the State Revenue Committee’s E-learning Platform
An e-learning platform has been launched at the State Revenue Committee, highlighting the importance of creating accessible educational opportunities for its employees and ensuring continuous education.
The official presentation event of the learning platform took place today. The platform was developed by the RA SRC Training Center in cooperation with the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).
The speakers at the event included John Allelo, USAID Armenia Mission Director, Rafael Gevorgyan, Deputy Chairman of the SRC, Arusyak Mirzakhanyan, Director of the SRC Training Center; Tigranuhi Khalafyan, Acting Head of the Behavioral Oversight Department for Public Servants, Ani Jabaghyan, Marketing Specialist of the SRC Training Center; and Narek Nadaryan, a developer collaborating with the “Brevis” company.
The RA SRC Training Center Director Arusyak Mirzakhanyan expressed her gratitude to all partners for their funding, organization, advisory support, and cooperation. She noted that over the past two years, in collaboration with the USAID Armenia office, resulted not only in the creation of the manual “Explanatory Guide to the Code of Conduct for Customs Officers”, but also the online course on “Integrity Rules”, ultimately leading to the creation of the e-learning platform for SRC employees.
Within the framework of the “Customs Officer Training” course, approximately 415 participants are expected to join the course online by the end of October.
USAID Armenia Mission Director John Allelo highlighted USAID’s contribution and reaffirmed the agency’s commitment to supporting ongoing reforms and modernization programs in the public sector.
Deputy Chairman of the RA SRC Rafael Gevorgyan emphasized that, thanks to these efforts, SRC employees can now participate in courses through in-person, remote, and online formats. In particular, employees serving at border crossing points can now learn regardless of their location and time constraints.
The platform includes the following sections: Home, About Us, Partners, Contact Us, and Courses. It ensures interactivity by including theoretical materials, videos, and tests. The “Courses” section is organized into categories covering different topics. Currently, there are two categories—“Tax Service” and “Customs Service”—each offering one course. The “Integrity Rules” online course was developed by “Brevis”, while the “Tax Officer Training” online course was developed by the Training Center.
Access to the platform is granted by the Training Center. Usernames and passwords are generated and sent to participants via email, allowing them to change their passwords. The Training Center has also prepared a user guide for the platform. The platform will continue to be improved and expanded with new content on an ongoing basis.
