In accordance with the procedure for the qualification of customs clearance specialists (www.arlis.am/DocumentView.aspx?DocID=179235), the State Revenue Committee of the Republic of Armenia organizes an examination at least twice a year for the purpose of granting the Customs Clearance Specialist Qualification.

Before each examination, SRC Training Center conducts a preparatory course for the Customs Clearance Specialist qualification exam, with a duration of 60 academic hours (1 academic hour = 45 minutes).

Individuals who have attended at least 95% of all course hours are eligible to participate in the examination.

The examination is conducted by a commission established by order of the SRC Chairman, no earlier than the 5th and no later than the 15th working day following the completion of the course.

Candidates are given 80 minutes to answer the test questions.

The test result is considered positive if the candidate answers correctly at least 90% of the questions.

Information on the course dates, schedule, location and conditions, as well as information on the date, time and location of the examination, the scope of the questions to be covered, and the deadline for submitting the documents required to participate in the course and examination, is published on the Committee’s official website at least 20 days before the start of the course, as well as on the SRC Training Center’s website and social media pages.

Requirements for participation in the qualification course:

• an application addressed to the Chairman of the State Revenue Committee (the application form is attached to each announcement),
• submission of copies of an identity document containing proof of citizenship,
• submission of a copy of a higher education diploma (certificate),
• submission of documents confirming payment of the course fee established for participation in the course and the state duty prescribed for participation in the examination.
