Completion of the “Training of Trainers” Program

Our latest group of experienced trainers successfully completed the “Training of Trainers” program.

The program aimed to enhance trainers’ capabilities and introduce new educational tools and methods to maximize their ability to transfer knowledge and skills to participants in their training sessions.

Participants engaged in both group and individual exercises, developing tools aligned with the topics of their training sessions.

The trainer development program included the following components:

  • Improving teaching skills — developing trainers’ competencies using adult learning principles, instructional techniques, and training and retraining methodologies.
  • Structuring the subject agenda — delivering accurate and up-to-date information using optimal methods such as role-plays, situational analysis, and exercises to increase audience engagement or reduce fatigue.
  • Developing communication skills — effective communication and clear presentation of material, active listening, questioning techniques, providing constructive feedback, managing groups and challenging participants, and creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Evaluating training outcomes — trainers should be able to assess the impact and effectiveness of their sessions.
  • Encouraging continuous development — the program aims not only to provide initial knowledge and skills but also to foster a mindset of ongoing learning and growth.

The program was led by Areg Tadevosyan and Zaruhi Lavchyan, who over the past 20 years have been involved in educational programs, ensuring their quality, training and retraining trainers, and developing methodological skills for teachers, trainers, and educators. They have worked in government, civil society, and private sector educational projects and are authors of methodological manuals, instructional tools, and techniques. As mentors and coaches, they assist various stakeholders in enhancing the quality and effectiveness of educational programs through contemporary, non-formal, and interactive methodological solutions.

Areg and Zaruhi also serve as experts and consultants in Armenia and abroad, collaborating with public and non-public institutions, as well as several international programs, including educational projects of the European Union, the Council of Europe, and various UN agencies.
